Aquatic Sports Museum
DURBAN HARBOR, KZN, South Africa
Master of Architecture (Project B) envisions transforming Durban’s urbanscape into a sustainable, community-integrated model by linking the harbor to the urban realm at a human scale. Through an eco-systemic design approach, the concept fosters social exchange, ownership, and economic growth. Sport, particularly South African aquatic sports, serve as a catalyst for social integration, reconnecting the inner city with the harbor while revitalizing Durban’s water culture.
